Become a Hobby Gardener

WORK ON YOUR GREEN THUMB WITH OUR PLANTING CLASSES

REGISTER BY APRIL 8th, 2022

For the Carlton classes, please make sure to sign up using the form on the Carlton Community Education Class Offerings Website to secure a spot. If these class times do not work for you. We are offering a second option of dropping off your planters, and we will plant them for you. Please indicate what you would like regarding sunny shade or part shade and plant preferences (such as no petunias or no yellow plants, etc.).

BUILD YOUR GARDEN

What can you expect from our planting classes? To take part in the class, you'll:

  • Bring or buy a pot: You'll need a 12-inch pot or larger.
  • Choose your plants: Select your plants based on their sunlight needs.
  • Let it grow: Leave your plant at our greenhouse for a few weeks.
  • Take it home: Once your plants have had a chance to put down their roots, you can pick it up and take it home.

April 18th class 6pm - 8pm.
April 19th 6pm. - 8pm.
April 20th 6pm-8pm.
April 21st 10 am - 12-pm, 6pm. - 8pm.
April 22nd 6pm - 8pm.
April 23rd. 9am - 11am , 1pm - 3pm.

Place: The Green House, 210 6th Street, Carlton
Fee: $15.00
Instructor: Jim Fahrenholz, The Green House owner, who has 50+ years of experience in the plant business!
Deadline: April 8th, 2022
